The Vice
The Vice is an ITV police drama on the Metropolitan Police Vice Unit. It conducted for five short chain between 1999 and 2003. It tells the story of the vice squad of the London Metropolitan police force, where prostitution, under age sex, and other such organized crime are regular occurrences. Most episodes result in such a way where the principal protagonist is caught but an'naturally' concluded way that you would expect with television dramas, and usually end an incident unanswered than answered.
The small dedicated team is headed by Detective Inspector Pat Chappel who fights to deal with the balance between his home life and his job life - as do the other members of the team. Working in the seedy underworld leads to a continual dilemma for the club - the stress involving the Vice Squad and the offenses that they explore runs across the series and gives the show a rich viewing experience. The programme regularly blurs the line of the team because every participant of the team at several points submits briefly or permanently into the temptations of sex, drugs, honey or money cubes. Some times with consequences.
