The Octonauts

The Octonauts can be actually a children's television series, made by Silvergate Media for its BBC station Cbeebies. The series is revived in Ireland by Brown Bag Films but uses voice actors. The TV series relies on American-Canadian children's books written by Vicki Wong and Michael C. Murphy of Meomi Design Inc.. Even the Octonauts follows an submerged exploring team composed of anthropomorphic creatures, a team of eight adventurers that live the Octopod, in a under sea base, where they go on undersea experiences with the assistance of a fleet of vehicles that are aquatic. The topic material is reminiscent of Star Trek and Thunderbirds blended . In spite of the fact that it's sciencefiction as regards its own technology, the exotic animals and locations that the team encounter are marine creatures in their natural habitats.
