The series is a simple fact contest in the contestants work like a set to incorporate money which only one of these will win. The series was hosted by actor Grant Bowler in its first four seasons, also by author Tom Williams, who filled in to Bowler from the season. The first three seasons all took place in Australia, however the fifth and fourth were set in New Caledonia and New Zealand respectively. The first season was created by Mason Media Group. David Mason created within Executive Created and Seven seasons 2 to five. Fremantle Media Australia created the sixth season.
