The Guild

The Guild is an American humor webseries compiled and created . It was released on YouTube on July 27, 2007. Seasons two through five webisodes premiered on MSN Video, Zune Marketplace, also Microsoft's Xbox Live Marketplace. The webisodes were made available on YouTube, the state Guild website, along with iTunes. As stated by Day,'' the business model of Microsoft changed after season five. Day wanted to maintain ownership, so the incident premieres moved to Sundry & Day's YouTube station Geek. The webisodes will also be available via streaming and DVD on Hulu along with Netflix. The show revolves around the lifetime of a gamers' guild, Good's Knights, who play hours of a dream MMORPG video game. The narrative focuses on Codex, the guild's Priestess, who attempts to lead a normal life after each of her guild-mates, Warlock Zaboo, turns up on her doorstep. Joss Whedon credits The Guild as one of those inspirations for Dr. Horrible's Sing along Website, which also starred Felicia Day. The season expired on Sundry & Geek on October 2, 2012. In a telephone interview after the finish of the season, Felicia Day affirmed that The Guild webseries is complete.
