Slayers

Slayers follows the exploits of their young sorceress Lina Inverse, whose entire life revolves around treasure, food, and even fighting. Stragglers accost Li Na during her journey to the next town after stealing treasure from some group of bandits. She isn't in any danger, but a dim-witted but good natured swordsman called Gourry Gabriev springs into her rescue plateau. The two head fighting with foes they encounter along the method, and form teams. Unbeknownst to Lina and Gourry however, two mysterious characters are hot on their tail, and they're particularly interested in the"treasure" Lina and Gourry possess murdered.
