Moonlighting is a American television show that aired in March 3, 1985. A total of 66 episodes aired. Starring Bruce Willis and Cybill Shepherd as private detectives, the series was a blend of drama, humor, and love, and has been regarded as one of the first influential and successful types of comedy drama, or even"dramedy", emerging as a different television celebrity.
The show's theme song was performed with jazz singer Al Jarreau and turned into a winner. The series can be credited with making Willis a celebrity, while still providing Shepherd using a important success after having a series of projects. In 1997, the episode"The Dream Sequence Always Rings Twice" has been ranked #34 on Television Guide's 100 Greatest Episodes of All Time.
