Klovn
Klovn is a Danish sitcom that first broadcast on TV2 Zulu in Denmark. It focuses on the main characters, Frank and Casper. The show's comedy is based on quiet everyday events, social awkwardness, awkward silences, and general gaffes. Many elements in Klovn are shared with Larry David's American sitcom Curb Your Enthusiasm, most notably the primary concept of a semi-retired comic encountering amusing and awkward situations with his wife, friends, and famous acquaintances. The performance is also held in a pseudo-realistic way, which may lead a first-time audience to question whether or not the show is produced. Even the grade is comparable. Despite this, the show's ending credits indicate that it was created by Casper Christensen and Frank Hvam. The sitcom has 60 episodes spanning across six seasons, with each episode lasting 25 minutes. The sixth and last season aired between February 23 and April 27, 2009. Klown, a movie based on the series with an original plotline, was released on December 16, 2010.
