Frisky Dingo

Adam Reed and Matt Thompson produced the American animated cartoon series Frisky Dingo for Adult Swim. The series centered on the fight between a supervillain named Killface and a superhero named Awesome X, aka billionaire Xander Crews, and much of the show's humor parodies superhero and action film tropes. The first season aired on October 16, 2006 and concluded on January 22, 2007; the second season premiered on August 26, 2007 and concluded on March 23, 2008. A third season was in the works, but without a contract renewal from Adult Swim, pre-production ended. In January 2009, the production company itself, 70/30 Productions, went out of business. The Xtacles debuted on November 9, 2008, but just two episodes broadcast before the production firm went out of business.
