Captain Flamingo
Captain Flamingo is a Canadian animated television series that follows the exploits of Milo Powell, the protagonist and primary character. Atomic Cartoons, Breakthrough Films & Television, The Heroic Film Company, and PASI Animation developed the television series, which premiered on YTV in Canada on February7,2006, and is now broadcast on Jetix in the United Kingdom, as well as Nicktoons and the ABC in Australia. The series was supposed to launch on JETIX in the United States in2007, but Toon Disney's new schedule premiered it on January28, 2008 at 8:30 a.m. Captain Flamingo was pulled from the Toon Disney schedule on August12,2008, but reappeared on September 2 at 5:30 a.m. Captain Flamingo was withdrawn from Toon Disney when it was relaunched as Disney XD on February13,2009, and it hasn't aired in the United States since. The protagonist is a young man of unknown age. He possesses no notable superpowers other than a desire to assist "little youngsters" in need. His "super powers" are manifested in the form of novelty products, such as a whoopee cushion. Reruns are no longer broadcast on YTV, however they are currently broadcast on the Canadian Nickelodeon channel.
