Bodyline
A dramatization of the 1932/33 Test cricket series between England and Australia. When the series was played in Australia, the English team, led by captain Douglas Jardine, used a bowling method called "leg theory," or more commonly "Bodyline." This made the series famous in Australia and around the world. Bowlers used this strategy by throwing the ball directly at the batsman's body. Many members of the Australian team got bruises and other injuries, and Bert Oldfield cracked his skull. The series made a lot of people in Australia angry and resentful of the English team, which hurt cricket relations between the two countries at the time.
