Angry Boys
Angry Boys is a Australian television mockumentary series written by and starring Chris Lilley. Continuing the mockumentary style of his earlier series, the series explores the problems faced by young males from the 21st century -- their influences, their stresses, their visions and aspirations. In Angry Boys, Lilley plays multiple characters: S.mouse, an American rapper. A mum that is devout, jen. Blake Oakfield. Ruth"Gran" Sims, a protector in a juvenile detention facility. Along with her grand children, South Australian twins Daniel and Nathan Sims.
The series is a Coproduction between US cable channel HBO along with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation , using a Presale to BBC Three. Filmed in Melbourne, Los Angeles and Tokyo, Angry Boys premièred on 11 May 2011.
