A Certain Magical Index

Kamijo is a student in Academy City, where supernatural powers are developed through scientific means. He has a lot of heart, which is fortunate for a young nun named Index. She is on the run from a sorcery society that desires the 103,000 volumes of magical information stored in her memory. When Index wanders into Kamijo's life, she discovers a loyal companion and protector, and while Kamijo is undoubtedly the weakest child in Academy City, he has something else going for him: the Imagine Breaker, an unexplained power held in his right hand that nullifies the powers of others. With scientists and sorcerers attacking from all sides, the Imagine Breaker will come in handy, but Kamijo's loyalty to Index will be his most powerful weapon in the fight to protect her.
