Nikkatsu has relaunched the Roman Porno label and resumed production of new works, reviving its role as a sandbox for playful experimentation in pursuit of new forms of cinematic expression. Hideo Nakata started at Nikkatsu as an assistant director and has worked on several on-location shoots for Roman Porno soft-core series, but this is his first Roman Porno title. With his respect for his master, director Masaru Konuma, he challenges a lesbian world taking over from the old title spirits. Two women are in a relationship: Tokiko, a ceramic artist, and Haruka, her apprentice. The couple is not inherently lesbian, but they happened to fall in love.
