The Cat and the Canary
Cyrus Norman's will is to be read to his six relatives ten years after his death, including Joyce Norman and Wally Campbell. The six gather in Norman's foreboding New Orleans Gothic home, arranged by Norman's lawyer, Crosby. Throughout the reading, the superstitious housekeeper predicts that someone will die before midnight. When Joyce is deemed the sole inheritor, Wally fears for her, but everyone is concerned when Crosby is discovered dead.
