For the Love of a Child
Actresses start a charity for mixed-race children who aren't cared for in their home countries because they are seen as outsiders. In 1959, US troops stationed in Asia and later the United States help them. This is how Childhelp, which later runs multi-disciplinary centers for abused and neglected children in the United States, comes into being. Jacob Fletcher is one of them. His stepfather, a lawyer, terrorized him until he was scared to death, and he was released from prison after 10 months. Jacob's friends have a lot of sad stories of their own, but the staff at the old farm is very good at what they do, and they use animal therapy to help most of them.
