Trevor is an intelligent young man with an intense future. However, he also experiences bipolar disorder, and is significantly in rejection concerning the nature of his illness. After a particularly violent episode of mania, his mom sends him to an old household friend, Dr. Robert Weldon, for treatment. Dr. Weldon takes Trevor in, welcoming him to remain in his home with his better half Cynthia and also young son Alton while he goes through therapy.
