American Yakuza
When Nick Davis is released from prison after a year in solitary confinement, he is hired to operate a forklift in a warehouse in the harbor owned by Japanese Yakuza patriarch Isshin Tendo. The Italian Mafia led by Dino Campanela attacks the location, and Nick rescues and saves the life of Shuji Sawamoto, the representative of Yakuza interests in America. After Nick takes the oath to join the Yakuza, Shuji hires him and becomes his godfather in the family. Nick, on the other hand, is a lonely FBI undercover agent assigned to infiltrate the criminal organization. When the FBI learns that Campanela is planning a massive attack to destroy the Yakuza, Nick's boss Littman cancels the operation in order to leave the dirty work to the Italian Mafia. However, Nick's relationship with Shuji and his goddaughter Yuko compels him to assist his Japanese family.
